 71 videos (exhibits one a day during the 71 days of the exhibition)

During the 71 days of the exhibition Volátil at the Museu de Arte Brasileira (MAB), a different video was screened daily on a loop. Each video began with a number that functioned as an affective calendar, marking the remaining time of the exhibition.

The videos operated like pages of a farewell diary. Intimate letters addressed to someone who is about to leave. This melancholic countdown established a feeling of anticipation of absence, revealing the inevitability of an ending—whether of a presence, an exhibition, or a cycle.

The work placed the personal and the collective, waiting and loss, in tension, evoking a suspended sense of time. The daily repetition created a ritual, transforming the museum into a space of silent vigil, where time was measured not by dates, but by affects in countdown.
