In ancient times, our ancestors held a deep appreciation for fragrances, valuing aromatic spices and resins as luxurious commodities. This admiration led to the establishment of various trade routes, including the famous Incense Route, which facilitated the transportation of these precious items over long distances, promoting cultural exchange, trade, and discovery. In this historical context, AlUla played a crucial role as a significant stop for caravans traveling along the Incense Route.

"Sfumato" is inspired by the historical richness of the ancient Incense Route and embarks on a journey to recreate its olfactory sensory atmosphere, inviting visitors to reconnect with the aromatic heritage of the route.
