In this installation, thousands of small plaster roses emit an enveloping fragrance, creating a silent and symbolic sea that contrasts with the title of the work. Inspired by a popular Brazilian expression, the piece reflects on the imperfection of life, its losses, frustrations, and limits, while offering a moment of sensory suspension.
At the center of the space, the phrase “I’m sorry for that” appears as a gesture of empathy, welcoming the visitor into a shared humanity. Between beauty and fragility, the work invites us to feel and to be together even in the face of what cannot be changed.
